Sodium phosphate
in 1 remedy
A Schuessler tissue salt known as the acid-balancing salt, traditionally used for acidity, heartburn, sour belching and a creamy yellow coating on the tongue.
Natrum phosphoricum is sodium phosphate, a white mineral salt found in the blood, muscles and nerve tissue. It is one of the twelve tissue salts of Wilhelm Schuessler's biochemic system and is often described as the acid-balancing salt.
In homoeopathy it is traditionally used for complaints linked with too much acid, often after rich or sugary food. Its picture includes sour belching and sour vomiting, heartburn, greenish, sour stools in children, and a moist, creamy yellow coating at the back of the tongue and the roof of the mouth. Wind and colic alongside these signs also fit it.
