Spores of the club moss
in 1 remedy
Club moss spores, a major homoeopathic remedy for bloating and wind after meals, digestive and urinary complaints, and anxious people low in confidence.
Lycopodium clavatum is the common club moss, a creeping evergreen plant of heaths and hill pastures across the northern hemisphere. Its fine yellow spores were once used in flash powder and to coat pills. The spores are almost inert until they are broken open by long grinding, which is how homoeopathy prepares them.
It is one of homoeopathy's major remedies. It is traditionally used for weak digestion with bloating and wind after even a light meal, a craving for sweets and warm drinks, and complaints that are worse from four to eight in the evening. Red sand in the urine, early greying or thinning hair and a lack of self-confidence also belong to its picture.
