Potassium sulphate

in 1 remedy

A Schuessler tissue salt traditionally linked with the later stage of colds, yellow slimy catarrh, a rattling chest, dandruff and peeling skin.

Kali sulphuricum is potassium sulphate, a white salt widely used as a fertiliser and found naturally in the body. It is one of the twelve tissue salts in Wilhelm Schuessler's biochemic system.

It is traditionally used for the later stage of colds and inflammations, when discharges become yellow and slimy. Its picture includes a cough with rattling mucus, especially after flu, a tongue with a yellow coating, and skin that flakes and peels, with dandruff or scaly patches. Aches that wander from place to place, and complaints that are worse in a warm, stuffy room and better in cool fresh air, also fit it.

  • Yellow catarrh
  • Rattling cough
  • Dandruff and flaky skin
  • Wandering aches
