in 1 remedy
Potassium carbonate, a classic homoeopathic remedy for sharp, stitching pains, a weak aching back and people who feel the cold and tire easily.
Kali carbonicum is potassium carbonate, the white salt once obtained by soaking wood ashes in water, which is why it is called potash. It is used in making soap and glass, and Hahnemann included it among his remedies for long-standing complaints.
Homoeopaths traditionally associate it with weakness, sweating and backache. Its pains are sharp and stitching and can turn up anywhere, and the small of the back feels weak, as if it might give way. Complaints tend to be worse in cold weather and in the early hours, around three in the morning. Wind and bloating after eating also belong to its picture.
