in 1 remedy
A North American meadow herb, traditionally used in homoeopathy for women who feel tired all the time, with pallor, weakness and a heavy, dragging feeling.
Aletris farinosa, the true unicorn root or white stargrass, is a perennial herb of the eastern United States. It grows in moist, sandy or peaty ground, forming a rosette of narrow, yellow-green leaves, and sends up a tall spike of small white flowers with a mealy look.
Classic texts describe a tired, run-down state, especially in women, with pallor and low energy. Homoeopaths traditionally use it for constant tiredness, poor concentration, a heavy, dragging feeling in the lower abdomen, white discharge linked with weakness, and sluggish bowels with a poor appetite.
