Hydrofluoric acid
in 1 remedy
Hydrofluoric acid in homoeopathic form, traditionally linked with falling hair, brittle nails, early tooth decay and tired, swollen veins.
Fluoric acid is hydrofluoric acid, a solution of hydrogen fluoride in water, best known for its power to etch glass. It is made from the mineral fluorspar. The raw acid is extremely corrosive and toxic; homoeopathy uses it only in specially prepared form.
Homoeopaths traditionally associate it with the slow wear of tissues, especially in people who seem older than their years. Its picture includes hair that falls out in patches, brittle, fast-growing nails, early decay of the teeth and varicose veins. Its typical person feels hot, prefers cool air and keeps busy, with a strong urge to move about.
